On the back of the TV there is a 1/4 inch nut. You will need a 1/4 x32 thread bolt/screw by 1/2 inch long to mount the wall bracket to the tv. You might also need some spacers to get the screw tight to the TV

I am trying to connect my macbook pro computer to
On the MacBook, check the Displays pane in System Preferences to make sure the settings for the external monitor are correct. It's possible that the system is not recognizing the adapter or it has the wrong resolution setting, so it's not sending out any signal that the adapter can use.
Many of the better DVD players and high-end video game consoles use HDMI. You can use one of those as a test signal generator to check the TV.
You may get better results if you use a DVI-HDMI converter, although you would need to get the DisplayPort to DVI cable. This will avoid converting to analog VGA signals and back to digital again.

Hi there i have a
That depends on what the damage is. If the plasma panel has aged (the tv is older than 4 years) then surely no, a replacement panel will cost more than a new tv. If the damage is in the video final panel then by replacing only the broken parts it could cost you less then $200 it is still worth it.
The only way to know that is to open the tv and test it. Try to get a cheap quote from a local repairman. If you see it wanting more than $50 for that then it will charge you more than it's worth for whatever fix it will do = time for a new tv.

The chemicals contained in widow washers are incredibly damagingto the plasma panel and should never be applied to clean LCD or plasma screens as they do not have a glass screen, but are a digital panel screen. I'm afreid there is probably nothing you can do other than refer to user guide when cleaning and maintaining products. This may have also voided your warranty. To clean LCD and plasma screens, simply wipe with a lint free/ static free cloth. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I have the Panasonic TH50PX50U
Most who have taken to the DIY option end up haveing more probelems than if they got it fixed professionally the first time!
Board swapping is not tolerated by modern TV's Unlike PC's they require matching and setting up properly. 6 blinks is severe
6 Blinks SOS: Pin 90 of the MPU IC9003 monitors the status of the SC
board. During normal operation, the transistor Q6581 and IC6581 output a
low to pin 90. If the SC board becomes defective, a high is provided to
pin 90. As a result, the unit shuts down and the power LED blinks 6
6
Blinks SOS: 6 blinks of the power LED may also be obtained from pin 3
of IC9003, the DRV_RESET input. The D board provides the 5V source
needed to power the C boards. On the C2 board, the 5V is routed back to
the D board via connector C20/C10, C11/D31 causing pin 3 of IC9003 to be
high. If 5V is not routed back to the D board, pin 3 of IC9003 goes
low. The set goes into shutdown mode and the power LED emits 6 blinks.
Thanks for using FIXYA
