What is the white dots going from left to righ on
Most Plasma Tvs eventually develop this problem. This is called "diffusion" and it is a fault that occurs in the Panel of the tv. In most cases it can be fixed by adjusting the V-scan alignment settings but in some cases you may have to replace the panel. Hope for the best and contact Panasonic support so that they will help you fix the issue.

Screen went black on my plasma tv
If the menu display isn't coming up either, then the odds are the power supply for the screen is the problem. Most manufactures call this a Backlight Inverter Board. Being that it's only 7 month old, it should still be under warranty by the manufacture. I would try to get it fixed by the warranty first if possible.

My palsma screen half is black and the other half has the picture
From the brief description it sounds like the sub y board either the upper or lower one as failed (depending on which half is black. For a plasma this is a relatively in expensive repair from a shop probably a couple hundred dollars or little more. I am not in a position to give you part numbers right now but if you want to attempt to fix this yourself i can get the part numbers for the upper and lower sub y boards tomorrow. But working inside a tv can be dangerous and you can make things worse if you are not careful, so try this only if you feel confident working on electronic equipment.

There is a vertical stripe
this is a fairly common problem. It is due to a fault capacitor. It is usually on the convergance board but has been known to happen on other system boards as well. You can buy a capacitor tester to check each one.

Try to unplug and replug the power cord. If TV remains unchanged you need to call for service. The power supply board was defective. In worse case, the Y and buffers are defective, too. There are many steps needed to figure out the exact defective board. You need help from TV repairer unless you want DIY.

I have a verticle black line about 3 inches wide on my panasonic
Normally when a line appears on the screen of a plasma or LCD it indicates the TV needs repair. There are circuit boards inside the set that, if bad, will cause problems with the picture. The only troubleshooting the manufacturer will offer is to unplug the TV for 30 minutes. If that doesn't solve the issue, the unit needs service.
Call Panasonic at 800-211-7262 to see what they're willing to do for you. If you're under warranty they will service the TV for sure. If you're out of warranty they still might give you a break--they've been known to do that.

Panasonic Plasma screen suddenly has a verticle black line
G'Day!
Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair
issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting.
There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're
under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under
warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor.
However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.

here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a

Vertical lines of intrference.slowly schrolling
The problem may be due to 60hz (cps) power line interference making its
way into the TV either through the cables that are connected to the TV
or through the AC power wire. A good test is to unhook everything and
connect a VCR to the TV and play a movie to see how the TV screen
looks. If the TV screen doesn't show the lines when playing a movie,
the problem is coming into the TV from one of the cables. Try hooking
up one item at a time until the noise bars show up, when they do that
cable or device is the cause of the noise bars.

The new ZeeVee Pro250 looks very promising. Im about to use is in several local restaurants that currently have standard modulated signals. check them out at www.zeevee.com. You will need a Pro250 for each Cox HD cable box your running in the system.

Most TV's have a system built in that will flash the power button a number of times to help the repair tech find the problem. The only people that would have the specific codes will be the authorized techs for Panasonic. You could try a Google search to see if the codes are listed anywhere. You may want to contact the retailer you bought the TV from and let them know you received the 6 flashing light code. However, if your TV is working okay now, they might not want to send out a tech. I would definitely try to get one though and find out from them what the code meant and if the tech recommends you ask that your TV either be repaired or replaced.
