Panasonic ct-34wx54. I cant remove

Try pressing the volume down button on the T.V. and the info button on the remote. Do this for at least 5 seconds and it will reset the T.V.

I dont have a remote for my tv and it wont turn on

The blinking lights are a service code. You should first try to unplug your TV and leave it unplugged for at least 4 hours... then plug it back in again.

If the blinking light is still there and no picture, time to have the TV serviced. Good luck!

Will not power on

Check the main A/C fuse. These sets are famous for blowing the fuse. It is usually a 6.3 amp. Look at fuse to confirm size. Thanks for using fixya.

After having my dish network upgraded to HD and

Sounds like one of the cables got plugged in wrong.

Look at the back of the HD box and there should be a cable with 5 ends on it (Green,Blue,Red, White and Red).

Often times a flashlight can help make sure you see the colors clearly.

The Green,Blue and one of the Reds is for video. The White and other red are for Audio.

When you unplug the connector the connection it is attached to is also colored. Check to make sure the colors on the cord match the color they are connected to at the box.
The most common mistakes connecting these cables are:
1) Crossing the Green and the Blue cables.
2) Connecting the Red Audio cable to the Red Video connection.

If all of the connections match the correct colors find the same cable where it plugs into the back of the TV and check these connections that they are correct.

When you find and move the cable to the correct connection this should clear up your color and you can begin to enjoy your new toys....

Good Luck....

TV won't turn on

It may be too late for this advice, but if you live in a lightning prone area, you should consider having a 'whole house surge protector' installed.
The cost should be well under $300 (a lot less if you install it) and with the included insurance (most often for $25,000) it is a good investment.

If your house was struck, I'm surprised you don't have a list of things that no longer work.
It could just be an expired TV.

My picture was distorted by a speaker magnet

well , yes , you have to purchase a DEGAUSSING COIL to take care of this problem and know how to use it (which its very easy) available at electronic stores (try EBAY) What you do is you place the DEGAUSSING COIL in front of the color spot and do circular motions while slowly stepping away from it . that should take care of that.

HELP

Hi,

To my knowledge a CMKM-P3X is a generic interface board assembly, generally used by many electronic manufacturers. I am therefore inclined to think that this is not the real part number or board number for that matter.

Having said that, is it possible for you to provide photos/images of the burned board or component? There is a possibility that generic/replacement/refurbished may then be available.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Green Spot On Screen

IN your statement says tv is second hand and also you tried degausser method also. The problem is permanent magnetic field affected your tv set. So the best recovery is fix one button magnet in the affected area.

Picture on Panasonic tv intermittently becomes striated and bottom half of picture shows on top half of screen

Hello! What you're describing sounds like a vertical deflection problem if it also occurs when you're watching a TV program. This type of trouble is a component failing in the vertical circuit of your set. A loose solder connection could cause this. On the other hand, if it just happens when you run the VCR, your problem could be somewhere in the tape drive mechanism or possibly a bad tape. Things like slipping clutches, bad belts sticking guide rollers are a few things that will cause this in a VCR. You need to have a tech check it for you. Hope this gives you some help. Stargazer

I have a Panasonic 50-in flat screen TV a storm came by and knocked out my TV and my Yukon no breaker was off so did it come through the antenna please help

  1. Check the Power Cord: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and the power outlet. Make sure there are no visible signs of damage to the power cord or the plug.
  2. Inspect the Power Outlet: Try plugging another electronic device (such as a lamp or a phone charger) into the same outlet to verify if it is functioning properly. If other devices work fine, then the issue is likely not with the power outlet.
  3. Check for Tripped Circuit Breakers: Check your circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a circuit breaker has been tripped or a fuse blown. If so, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse and try plugging in your TV again.
  4. Test with Different Power Source: If possible, try plugging your TV into a different power source altogether, such as a different room or building. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the power source you were previously using.
  5. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your TV still does not power on, it's likely that there is a hardware problem with the TV itself. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to arrange for repairs. Be sure to provide them with details of the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
Hope this helps

Panasonic hds700tds playing audio no videos

  1. Check the Input Source: Make sure you have selected the correct input source on your TV for the device you are using. Use the remote control to cycle through the input options until you find the one connected to your video source.
  2. Check Video Connections: Ensure that all video cables (such as HDMI, component, or composite cables) are securely connected between your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. A loose or faulty cable connection could result in a loss of video signal.
  3. Restart the TV and Video Source: Try restarting both your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. Power off both devices, wait a few moments, and then power them back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches or issues with the video signal.
  4. Check for Software Updates: Make sure your TV's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes software updates can resolve compatibility issues or bugs that may be affecting video playback. Check the settings menu on your TV for an option to update the firmware, or visit the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do so.
  5. Reset Video Settings: If you've made any changes to your TV's video settings, such as resolution or picture mode, try resetting them to their default values. This can sometimes resolve issues with video playback.
  6. Try a Different Device: If possible, try connecting a different device (such as a DVD player or gaming console) to your TV to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem lies with the TV itself or with the original device you were using.
  7. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible there may be a hardware problem with your TV. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to schedule a repair.
  8. Hope this helps
