When you have a scratch on the display, your picture won't suffer. But if the sensor has a scratch all pictures will show that.
Just check a picture on a computer, and not on the back of the camera and you see what is wrong or not.
You don't need any special software.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Remove the memory card to access the photos in the internal memory. Alternatively, you can use the Copy command in the Playback menu to copy the photos from the internal memory to the memory card.
The photo processing shop most likely will have trouble downloading the photos from your camera/memory card.I suggest you purchase an USB memory stick and copy the photos to this USB memory stick and then take the USB memory stick to the photo processing shop.
It can be the problem with your camera IC.try servicing it at an authorised panasonic showroom as you can avail warranty if you are on the warranty period.
