Won't turn off or on automatically
You must have the yellow and the red wires tied together on a constant voltage source.
Only the yellow wire should be on a constant voltage source.
The red wire should only get voltage when the ignition is turned on or in the acc. position.
You need to rewire the red wire on the radio.
Let me know if it helps.

I cant get the rear speakers to play on my pioneer deh-p3000ib.
Sounds like you have
1) the rear speaker cable is plugged into the wrong colored hole
2) the audio software thinks you have a subwoofer, but you don't? Check on the audio software for ways to configure the speakers, the latest chips auto-detect when you plug in a cable, and ask you what that was you plugged in.

Amp turns off
your radio has 2 blue wires. one of them provides a 12 volt turn on for a power antenna (when a cd is inserted that 12 volt turn on turns off, because when a cd is playing, the antenna doesn't need to be raised up). The other blue wire has a 12 volt turn whenever the radio or the cd is turned on--this is the blue wire that you need to connect to your amp remote line. ( pull out the radio and switch the blue wires)
respectfully,
Merle

Cd code on radio kenwood
You need the remote control to clear the code, if you don't have one, then you may need to go to a KENWOOD agent, or purchase one for your use.
KENWOOD SECURITY CODE CLEAR procedure
Your code number is 5227 (KCAR)
* Press numeric key “5” ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key “2” ( 3 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key “2” ( 1 time ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key “7” ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
Your radio will require one of the following procedures.
Type 1
During the code request mode, while holding the DISP key depressed, press and hold the Volume UP or DOWN key for 3 seconds (so that “…” disappears).
Then using your remote enter your code.
Type 2
Press the "Auto" button and "Track up" on face of radio at the same time. The four dash lines ( . . . . ) should "disappear".
Then using your remote enter your code.
Type 3
Model# DPX-4020 and DPX-4030
Press and hold the 1 then the 6 preset key (preset keys are the buttons on face of radio for storing you "favorite" radio stations). "C" should display.
Then using your remote, enter your code.
Enter your number from the remote control unit.
The security is canceled and the set enters the TUNER mode!
Please rate ne FixYa for this solution. Good Luck :)
