Jensen VM9510 Car DVD Player - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Try the following which i managed to get from POWER ACOUSTIK technical support:

Multi-region for PTID4006T, 406T, 4005, 405, 8006T, 8004, 4003, 5000, 5800, 5300, 530.

1. Turn the unit on and insert a DVD disc. The unit will display LOADING.

2. While the DVD player is LOADING press the following keys:
SET-UP, then press 0, 0, 0, 0 key (0 four times), then ARROW DOWN key (to change the zone to region all 0), then BAND/ENTER key and SET-UP

3. To finish the procedure, push the EJECT key. The disc will eject... Wait and the DVD disc will re-load and play.

I just fixed mine. Instead of the 0123456, you do it in reverse. So 6543210

my jensen vm9510 ts turns on and you can listen the radio dvd's cd's but the screen do not come out even if you reset it and press the open button, so you can't seen anything is already coded to play dvd's with out eh parking brake. If any one can help me please.

If it asked for the pin code, it had spent a while without any power feed to it. Slide it out to get to the wires behind it. Check the power wires and any fuse connections to it (usually red wires) by wiggling them and see if it comes on briefly, (it will ask for code again). Wires may be damaged, pinched or corroded. To see if its wires in car or the stereo, take the stereo out of car and connect to a car battery on a table to see if its fine (it will ask for code).

i had the same problem. It is illegal to watch videos while driving hence why they dont tell you how to play youtube off of card and usb. But after hours of testing converted videos here what works for me. download pazera free flv to avi converter. after that you will have to custom convert the videos with these settings....video format is MPG custom MPEG-2/ FPS 29.97. Audio mp3-mpeg- layer 3/ bit rate 128 and i added stereo-2 for kicks. last but not least custom resolution (Based on size of screen) 720x480. (for 3.5 inches. you can adjust for size. convert and it works :)

im not resposible for anything here but try this. stick another disc in only about half way or as far as it will go up to that point. when the loading mechanism in the player sees another disc trying to come in, it pops up to accept the disc. it should spit your stuck disc back at you while holding the new disc in your hand.

dont need a code just get a toggle switch and hook that to the yellow/blue wire and with the other side ground to the small lil screw where you will see a small lil short wire and then all u have to do is fallow the screen with the e brake but just flip the switch 3 times with the whole one sec then off for 3 sec then on

All DP decks just need the parking break wire either pink or brown connected with the ground for them to play all the time.
