Try change the tv with another power a/c cord,see if that solved the shutdown problems.If not.The tv power supply board have intermittent shorts in it some where in the tv power supply board.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I am leaving you this reset information on your unit. However, if you still do not receive a full led panel after wards, you may have blown several components on your power board and will need to be replaced.

Resetting the TV If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows: NOTE: Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time. 1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

I had the same thing happen, replaced the backlight inverter and it works fine. I got mine from http://www.lcdparts.net/LCDTVInverterdetail.aspx?InverterOriginal=V144-001MSS.

I had the same problem. Based on other resutls of a Google search, I replaced the backlight inverter board. That fixed the problem. I got my substitute board from http://www.lcdparts.net/LCDTVInverterdetail.aspx?InverterOriginal=V144-001MSS.

All you need to replace the board is ap hilipps head screw driver and be comfortable taking electronics apart and handling PC boards (you need to take a couple of layers off before you get to the board).

I have the same problem when switching component inputs. I also had a problem with the backlight going off after 10secs-5mins. Which is still being resolved.

In my case, the backlight flashed on for less than a second, then went out. Turns out the backlight inverter was bad. I replaced it (got mine at http://www.lcdparts.net/LCDTVInverterdetail.aspx?InverterOriginal=V144-001MSS) and everything works fine.
