Hi Gina, A failed CFL in the backlights may be causing this. Also check all the connectors between the inverter and the CFLs.

The problem lies in the main board.

If the TV timer is set within then it will restart in the same channel as when you connect the power to the timer the whole power is shut down and so the memory is lost on the last attempt. Hence the TV will start back on the default setting unless there is proper back up on the memory.Please check if the TV timer can be reset to solve this issue or the memory must be checked for fault to retain last settings.

The problem is the LCD panel went bad, it can't be repaired, you have to replace it.

Hi, not sure if you have the same fault as i had, but our tv only had half the screen go off, after looking up on the internet i found a video for a fix, what you need to do is remove the back cover, there will be ribbons that go from the front screen to the main panel, i removed each one at a time and rubbed the contacts of the ribbon with a rubber on the end of a pencil, plugged them all back in and switched it on and it was now spot on, thats more than a year ago and its still working spot on, hope this helps jim

hi did you put the capacitor in the right way round, the blue stipe on the cap is the negative, also what was the voltage? you can upgrade the voltage hope it helps regards shaun

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it.
