Service on @-02/34
Hi,
Check the condenser to see if it clean, normally the service light comes on for the compressors are running to long for the computer. A dirty or clogged condenser could cause this. Worst case is a low charge and this would need to be tested for this by a certified repair person.

SUb-Zero 650 fridge lighting issue
Just a bad door switch. Turn the unit off, remove the upper grill, then remove the cover over the switches. there are 2. 1 with a black backside, and one that is all white. you want to replace the all white one with a new all white one. it just has 2 wires, doesn't matter what order they go in. pull em off and pop that thing out, then snap the new one into place. all of this should be done with the power off and the door open. Good Luck!
Sub-Zero 550 water dripping on right side of freezer forming ice on draw
I had a similar issue that started about a year ago with my Sub-Zero 550. My freezer gasket actually tore after several times of freezing closed. I thought that a new gasket would solve it, but a second but related problem developed where I was getting alot of condensation under the left side of the unit, with the water dripping onto the floor...eventually staining the hardwood floor in front of the unit.
I traced the problem to a clogged condensation drain pipe in the refrigerator. It is a corrugated pipe that drains a trough behind the crisper drawers. My pipe was clogged with black sludge and frozen down below. The condensation in the fridge would overflow out of the trough and leak below the crisper drawers, down out through the gasket.
To resolve, I used a piece of solid thin wire folded in half and twisted with a small loop at the end to fish out as much sludge as I could. Then squirted hot water into the pipe until it totally unclogged. I believe this will solve the problem without any need for a heater underneath the unit. The 550 worked fine for 4-5 years before this happened.
Sub zero 550 - Condensation on sides and rear of
You may want to have this checked out by an authorized servicer. Usually this means the insulation is getting old and that isn't a problem that can be fixed, which would spell out a new fridge. Definitely worth the checkout fee to make sure there isn't something else causing it that can be repaired. They stopped making the 550's in about 1997 and started them in about 1986 so depending on the age it could just be tired.
Broken freezer door handle
The O in you model should stand for Overlay panel and that would mean the handles were purchased separately to match the rest of the cabinet work. The handle is also mounted to the wood panel. To remove the panel pull the freezer drawer out and look at the metal trim across the top. You should see a strip across the middle of it. That strip is held in with magnets. Put a piece of duct tape on it and it should pull out. If there have been any spills it can cause the strip to stick and you may need a putty knife to help pry it free. Once the strip is out you will see the screws holding the top trim in place. Remove the trim and the panel will slide out the top of the drawer and the screws holding the broken handle will be accessible.
