You have selected a wonderful watch... Heuer and TAG/Heuer should be gently wound by the motion of the human wrist and the falling of a centrally pivoting weight (there is no ideal direction). AUTO-WIND function is NOT at all unique to your watch... After a couple of CHEAPER "winders" failed me... and after I figured about 4 watches was more than enough to keep wound...
