How do I export the film after shooting?
When the camera exposes the last frame, it will rewind the remainder of the film back into the cartridge. Open the camera the same way you opened it to load the film and remove the cartridge. If you need a manual, you may download a copy

Hello,the numbers 22 16 11
Turn the aperture ring to f/22 and if the lens has a lock, lock it. You control the aperture from the camera body, the same as on a lens without an aperture ring.
Hello I have this Nikon
I'm sorry that the Camera is not turning ON. Please follow the below troubleshooting steps and check the operation:
- Please make sure that battery is fully charged.
- If the battery is not used for a while, it is possible that it may be damaged or completely discharged even if it was charged fully before. Hence charge the battery again and check the operation.
- Remove and Reinsert the battery and check the operation.
- Try with a different battery. If the issue persists with new fully charged battery, service may be required. You can click hear to setup a service for the Camera.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require further assistance.
I need to know how
In short, if the lights to the left are lit then you're overexposing and you need to reduce the exposure. If the lights to the right are lit then you're underexposing and need to increase the exposure.
Full details are in the "Manual Exposure Mode' section of the manual. If you need a manual, you can download a copy from

I understand the autofocus Nikon N55 was subject
You can contact Nikon through their website, nikonusa.com (or the appropriate website for your country), or they also list 800-numbers on the website for various countries. You can also contact a NASR (Nikon Authorized Service Representative) in your area if there is one. Keep in mind that often recalls and TSB's have a time limitation on them, and the extension for this model may have expired.
Does the focus lock indicator come on, indicating proper focus when you're using autofocus? Does it happen all the time, or only under certain conditions? Have you attempted using a different lense?
My N55 won't let me
Could be your lens is not communication with the body. If the lens is not telling the camera that the AF has locked on an object then it won't allow the camera to fire. Make sure that the camera is indeed locking the AF on the object. If there isn't enough contrast (for example a plain wall) then it wont be able to lock onto it. This would usually explain why it works on manual but not on auto (I assume you mean the focus setting and not the camera's modes). If you're still having issues I recommend you contact a nearby Nikon authorized service center for assistance and possible repairs. Hope this helps!

You can't. If the film cartridge has the DX markings then the camera will automatically set it to the correct speed. Without the DX markings the camera goes to ISO 100. You can adjust this by using exposure compensation. For example, if you have ISO 200 film loaded without the DX markings, set the exposure compensation to -1.0 and you will get the proper exposure.
I want to go digital
Any of your lenses will fit on any Nikon digital SLR camera. However, there are several things to consider.
Most Nikon digital SLRs have a sensor smaller than a frame of 35mm film. This means that your lenses will give the same angle of view as a lens with a focal length 1.5 times longer. For example, your 50mm lens will give the same angle of view as a 75mm lens would. This applies to all Nikon dSLRs except the D700 and D3 series.
If the lens does not have the electronics to communicate with the camera, some dSLRs will not be able to meter with them. Of the current models, the D7000, D300s, D700, and D3 series will work.
Most old autofocus lenses will not autofocus on some dSLRs. Unless the lens is designated "AF-S" they will not autofocus on the D3000, D3100, and the older D40, D40x, and D60.
Hello, I am trying to
The film is not inserted correctly. pull film leader out until it just reaches the red line on the take up spool, then close the bacl. "ERR" should be gone
