Sounds like a bad t-con board. Take back off tv. In the top center
is a cover with two small phillips screws. take these off and fold
cover over. Check and make sure connectors are seated good. If
still no help, you have a bad t-con board. Can get used one on e-bay cheap. Be crefull taking the two ribbon connectors loose. The black stips fold up and gently remove ribbons and replace carefully.
Sony has had bad issues with faulty t-con boards. Hope this helps
32ex400 lcd tv hdmi no work
Hello,
The most likely solution to your problem is to go into the tv's settings and verify that the input (which ever the the number is) is not set to "skip" as that will make it appear as if it doesn't work. Just change the label for that input to anything but "Skip".
Good Luck!

Sony Bravia KDL 32EX400 stuck on channel one
It sounds that the main system memory IC has damaged. Before make it sure, just make a hard reset to this set, and check whether it helps you. To make it a hard reset, just unplug the AC cord from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 30 minutes or so.If this do not help you, check and replace the main system memory IC.
Red light blinks when tv
Good day!!!
That problem is usually have 2 causes..Its either power supply board or mainboard..
Please take this steps on how to determine the problem:
- Open the back cover.
- Check the power supply output...It should have 5vdc for the main board..12vdc or 16vdc for the audio and 24vdc for the back-light inverter..
- If those 3 voltage supplies have encountered voltage drop...The problem could be on power supply board..
- If the power supply output is normal..The problem could be on the main board...
- If the problem is power supply you should check if the capacitors are bulged on the top and try to replaced it..If you can't do that you can purchased new power supply board..
- If the problem is on main board there is no D.I.Y repair on that so you need to buy a new main board that fits to your TV..
Hope thissolution will be helpful..
Thanks for using fixya...
T.V dosen't work with battery or inverter
The TV use 110V 60Hz sine wave AC, after rectified will be 156V DC, your inverter may be output 110V square wave AC, after rectified only 110V DC, it is too low for the TV work. except it can adjust to 155V.
Functional Noise
Not normal, top right back corner have inverter board and power supply board. It may be the transformer making noise. you are better to exchange it.

Kdl freeze and reboot on extra channels
Do a reset to this TV, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board....

SONY KDL52XBR3 TURN OFF AND STAND BY LED BLINK 7 TIMES IS AU BOARD BAD OR POWER SUPPLY.
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

Tv got a green light on but the TVs won't come on at all checked batteries in the remote all good what else can I do?
Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
