the only thing i can tell you is it is broke mow whats the worst that can happin be taken it apart. is the motor spinning?? if the motor is spinning then there is something in the little case that is not turning the only real way to find out is take it apart.i'm sure i could find parts for you if you feel up to. the choice you have is pack it up send it to the states to have it fixed. you could order a new one. let me know if you would like help looking up parts and taken it apart

The following Gates belt will work. Its called Poly power chain belt which is metric and just under 12 inches with 60 teeth. Just Google the number and you will find several suppliers online. Costs around $24 which is cheap to fix such a great machine.

Hello there,
To replace the churn switch,

1. first thing you should do is to unplug the ice cream maker for the power outlet.
2. And make sure the ice maker is turned off before you unplug it from the power outlet.
3. Then you remove the ice cream bowl,
4. try to wiggle off the mixer blade assembly bofore the bowl,
5. then you turn to the side of the machine, then you unscrew the screws that are visible to you,
6. then you unscrew the covering of the switch,
7. then you will have access to the switch on the main panel, then you can take it out and replace it with a new one,
8. then reverse the process to reassemble it back together, make sure you turn off the switch before plugging it back to the power outlet.

Depending on the ingredients, it could take 40 minutes to make a batch. Make sure you mixture is very cold before it goes into the unit by chilling in the coldest part of the refrigerator until very cold. If anything less than a very cold mixture goes into the unit, the freezing time will be quite long. The outside of the unit will not feel cold, just the inner wall of the bowl. Also, if your recipe includes any alcohol, this will inhibit the freezing process.

Do you use enough salt to assist in the freezing period? What kind of salt do you use? Use rock salt since it works better than table salt. This wills speed up the freezng time.

I would look at the motor itself. You will have to remove the cover and see what is happening. What I would be looking for is a loose motor mount or a missing/broken off mounting bolt.
