Faded black and white printouts
If you remove the toner cartridge and gently shake it side to side, then reinstall it, does the problem go away, or come back after a few pages? I would suspect you have a bad toner cartridge/image unit and recommend you put in a new one.

You can try inspecting and moving the ram to the other RAM slot. The 4510 image processor board has 2 ram slots, so one of them should still be unused. To access the ram you must remove the right side cover. Its possible changing the slot the ram is in will fix this, if it does not the next step would be to replace the ram. Part# 133K27760 for 128MB. Finally, if after replacing the RAM the error continues you would need to replace the image processing board. (part# 960K41806). Hope this helps
