reset xerox 3155 :

1. Connect the printer to the computer and turn it on

2. Wait until the printer is ready for work

3. Run the file "download.bat"

4. The reprogramming process starts automatically

5. Wait until the printer reprograms (1 minute) and restarts

6. After that the reprogramming process is finished, restart the printer

WIC or waits ink counter is used on a ink jet printer. I can't find a resetter for a Laser printer. Sorry.

The cartridge has a chip on it to let the printer know if it is new or how much is used. If the printer cannot read the chip it may not work properly. Make sure all packaging is removed from the cartridge and the chips contact points. Reinstall and see if the problem still exists. If it does return the cartridge to the store as defective and have them replace it with a new one. If you are using a remanufactured cartridge or one that has been refilled most likely they did not replace or reset the cartridge chip.
