What is MAxmedia tv for?
its a VGA to s-video/composite(rca) converter. it allow you to connect a computer to a tv with compatible inputs. Example would be to connect your laptop to a tv to show videos or pictures at a family gathering. you connect a VGA cable to the VGA output on the laptop(usually blue) connected to the
MaxMedia TV II Plus, then from there you could connect a set of rca to the tv and view whatever the laptop sees on the tv screen with audio.

I bougt tv tuner card
Most often there is not much that can be done on the tuner card except if there is the failure of the tuner which can be changed with a chance.If short circuit it is easier to find as checking with a meter to see if it is a regulating device that can be changed easily.
If not since you need the use of one , you will have to buy a new one.
