Fault at its main digital board.
Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.
TV turns off adn on by itself.
If the problem only happens upon update, it could be a software issue. However if it happens all the time regardless..
It's most likely a short between the start-up processor signal on the interface board and power supply or 1 of the 2 bad themselves.
You would need to pull out the board, identify those parts, and check continuity in the path. I wasn't able to find a circuit diagram online to tell you the exact location,.
If it's under warranty your best bet is to have it serviced and recommend that fix.
If many others are having the same issue the software is likely the cause and hardware with the opposite. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at

LIGHTNING STRUCK MY ANTENNA AND SHORTED MY TV IT COMES ON BUT NO PICTURE OR LIGHT OR SOUND.
I once had lightning enter a screen window, hit the TV and blow the control knobs off of it before jumping into the kitchen and pealing the counter's top. That dates me as TV's do not have knobs now. Woefully, what it would cost you in labor to have the internals of the TV checked and then replaced (and the delay while you wait) will make you purchase another set. There is just no way to predict how much if not all the circuitry was fried. When the lighting entered the antenna, it ran wild in the TV's circuitry and those are very tiny and vulnerable tracings that got "stomped" upon. I think you will find that the only thing that will work IS the power light. Why does it work and not the TV? Because the lightnings current did not run through the power line and thus blow the power indicator light! It came only through the antenna and fried the circuitry there before it ever reached the power indicator light. I presume this was not a surge protector that had a connection for the antenna. Even it had such, it is unpredictable whether it would protect the TV. Your TV is toast.
