You can get this back if you reset the phone to factory defaults. You will lose your other apps though... another option is to download the pocket word app from some Windows Mobile App website.

Your digitizer might be dead, and if so the cost to repair it could buy you a whole new PDA. But since it's fix or chuck(if you don't get any better advice), you should open it up and take a look inside. Check to see if the wires aren't loose or if some corrosion didn't occur inside. Good luck

Mine won't turn off as well. It'll turn off for a second or 2 and then come back on when it's on the cradle.

You may need to look up the hard drive on the manufacturers web site. They should list the spec's, including power requirements. In theory, sounds good though - anything to eliminate a power brick is good. Do you already have a hard drive you're thinking of using? If so, please post the drive model, manufacturer, etc - I can look it up at work in our files.

Yes it´s possible to downgrade your "Operating System". You just have to download your old WM2003 Version from the Toshiba Homepage ( http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com). Then look on "Support & Downloads" there you find the Category "Download driver".

the only thing you can try to "reinstall" is the PC Bluetooth Stack. Goto "http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com" , search for "support & downloads", now click on "downloads". Choose your PDA Model and download the available stack.
