Wireless router
No, but if you hook up a computer connecting to the internet through that phone line to the router, i think you can share that internet connection with the pocketpc.

SD Card error 31
Hi Simon, what do you mean with 'update the SD-card'?
I hope that SD card is not “locked”.
Pocket PC wireless internet
It is just like setting up a network card on the pc, except you need to tell PPC that the device either connects to "Work" or "The Internet".
Music on SD Cards
you should give up uploading music to your PDA and start to creat your own... Try Griff - I can't put mine down!!!
Windows 2003 update
The file is ok. I´ve downloaded and extracted the Zip-File.
Maybe problems with yout ISP ?
Change language
So far as I know the ROM Image ( Windows Mobile 2003 ) Version 1.0108.0410 is a World Wide Version.
Its available at
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com
Water in screen
It is not a good idea to try to open the pda!
The last try to rescue your PDA is to let it desiccate (on a radiator for example)
If this not works, contact the Toshiba Service Center for Repair.
Record audio
Do I understand correct that you want to use the headphone jack for recording ?
That´s impossible,
The headphone jack in just for output signals.
It´s not possible to use this one for recording sound.
Pocket PC e400 en Sandisk WiFi
I have bought the Bluetooth Option Part for my e400. It was an "PC Bluetooth SD Card2".
In the specs of the Bluetooth Card is an SD/IO enabled SD Slot required for the Card.
So I think your Wifi will also work.
Language settings
Sorry but I have bad news for you. If you buy one product like PDA or Notebook you buy automatically OS with license. As far as i know Microsoft do not sell Pocket PC as retail product. I can not understund why Microsoft does not sell the different language as they do for Windows XP. Therefor, a German PDA may not be flashed with another language version.
Only what you can do is make some updates in the installed language.
If you want to have PDA with English OS you must ask your local dealer whether it is possible to order such one.
Update to Windows Mobile 2003SE Problem
I had the same problem on my PDA. It was impossible to start “Flash Update Tool”. All the time when I wanted to start it, there was audible warning. But after several attempts it works well. In my case there was some problem with connection settings in ActiveSync.
Only what I can suggest you is to check your connection settings and to reset PDA properly.
SD card not recognized
It is not easy to say what the problem is. It is not known to me that there are some settings for this problem. In my opinion in this case is important to find out what is reason for this problem. It can be faulty SD Card or some hardware problem.
If you have possibilities try to test it with second SD Card (maybe another producer). If the problem is still there you can try to update or reinstall PDA Image. On this way you can check if error message comes again and find out is this just hardware problem.
In my opinion the best way is to contact Service Partner. They can make hardware check.
If you have some success and it works well please let me know what the problem was.
E400 with Sandisk 256mb + Wi-Fi
Sorry, Sandisk 256mb + Wi-Fi SD Card is not compatible with e400. Only Sandisk Wi-Fi SD Card without additional memory is working.
Does anyone have e400 software for the pc?
On Toshiba site there you can find some drivers and updates but if you need “Windows Mobile 2003 OS” for your PDA you should contact Service partner in your country and I am sure that they can help you.
Data recovery after battery disconnect
You are absolutely right. The “SD WIFI+256 MB” don’t work properly. Unfortunately there is no software that can re-establish your data again. You must be very carefully and always make data back up using SD card. This is the best and securest way to save all your data.
