I have a Brother MFC-7860DW. Scanner does not connect to pc

I was having this problem. All I had to do was make sure I had the right IP address under the Network Setting properties for the device under Scanners and Cameras.

first of all, lets start from beginig. unintall the printer software and reinstall it and connect your printer to the computer with the usb and setup the printer for wireless configuration. now make sure your wifi password is correct and try to connect with it. try to print a test page for more information and support contact http://goo.gl/YMlLOK . How do you mute the beep at the beginning and end
