Kodak EasyShare Z730 Digital Camera Questions & Answers
Camera time is in military time. how do i change it ?
Sorry, there is no way to change this on the camera. However, if you want to print the time stamp in 12-hour format, it can be done. Simply set the camera to NOT date stamp your photos. The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back. The program should also give you some control over the format of this data.

Kodak Easyshare z730 - possible problem flexible
It's obviously a switch problem, not a ribbon (which controls the lcd screen) problem. Start doing your research to find that "perfect" camera. Read all the reviews to see what actual owners think in addition to the experts. Or......you can "limp along" until you get tired of that.
Z730 will no longer talk
Here's the page from the user guide telling how to copy pictures from the internal memory to the memory card:

I installed a Kodak 8gb
If the Camera is new or the SD Card is new then you don't have much problem,
use the installation CD that comes with the camera to install it driver on a computer, so can use the USB cord to explore the camera. on the computer, try to locate the SD Card and format it. then you can use the camera again.
If you have files on the digital camera then i am afraid you might have connected the camera earlier with a virus infected device. there is no choice but to fellow my step either to scan it with computer or better still format it with computer.
Hope to know the outcome!!
How do I download photos
How do you transfer photos otherwise?
If you normally connect the camera to the computer, first remove the memory card. Then the only pictures available for download are those in the internal memory.
If you normally put the memory card into a card reader, first copy the pictures from the internal memory to the card. Follow the instructions here to copy the pictures:

Unable to download my pictures off the camera unto
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
Have Kodak EasyShare Z730, how
You don't. The Z730 works with MMC and SD cards, not with SDHC cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible. You need to use cards 2GB and smaller.
