Assuming Windows, go to Control Panel, then User Accounts. Create a new user with administrator privileges. When ready to install the new app, right click on the install and choose Run As, then chose the new admin enabled user.

YOu can reset bios password with 2 method.
(1) open back cover of laptop then find motherbord .Pull cmos cell from motherbord for 15 minutes then again put it in it's position .then it not ask for password.
(2)You can clear password with jumper settings find jumper on motherbord named clear cmos it has 3 pin .1-2-3
Put jumper in 2-3 position then again put it in 1-2 position then check .

Disk Read Error means that the system is not able to detect a valid bootable device or the Operating System is corrupted. There are 2 options if you want to Restore the laptop to its factory settings. You can either use the Recovery Disk if you have one. You need to access the BIOS page and change the First Boot Priority to CDROM or use the Hard Disk Recover. I've posted here the guide on how to do a Hard Disk Recovery. Just follow the instructions on the manual.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

I have never used that programme but expect it uses the sound card as an interface. If it does, the manual will tell you, you will need a Phono lead with 3.5mm jack plug on one end.

It may be that your DVDRom lense is not clear. you can use any DVD Lense cleaner CD to clean that.

You can also try with another CD.

you will have to take out the hraddrive from this laptop and have it scanned with a clean computer. if you have a data reader and another computer you can do this your self and if not you will have to take it into your local repair shop. if you do this make sure that they make a backup of your important data because you don't want to lose that.

This is your manual. There is a cover on the base of the laptop.
Take the screw out, take the cover off, there should be a spare space for the memory module.
You push the memory in at a 45 degree angle and gently push down till the clips lock it in place.
You may use a maximum of 2gb ram in 2 1gb sticks.
