Did you try pushing the On button of the set? New batteries for the remote? Power Reset, unplug from the wall socket, press and hold the power button for one minute, plug it back in?

Time for a new TV, in most cases plasma sets aren't worth fixing, parts are hard to find an costly plus one issue can lead to another, not something most people can fix without electronic experience

You should have its original remote control, to do this function. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. Just because the battery came out of a new pack does not guarantee it is good. Check it first, then take a nail file or something like it and clean the battery contacts inside the remote. The other possibility is something I do next: unplug everything for 30 seconds or so, then plug it all back in.

If this refers to their discs then it may be that your system needs a firmware update to recognize them which is a common problem, if your device is old then a new one may solve it, also if your devices laser is getting weaker or needs a service, then it may not lock on if these discs are of poorer quality. Verify those discs in another machine though even if they work it may may still come back to this firmware issue (its a form of software put into a processor to identify and work with the things it finds or works with) if it does not recognize an item then it fails to operate. If this is the case then it would require a service engineer to do this but if your machine is old it may be worth it to change it. Hope this helps.........

I would check with the manufacturer to find out if there is an internal "tint" control built into the unit that can be adjusted. If so, that adjustment will do the trick in correcting color issue. If none available you are SOL.

Unfortunately, this TV model was made by Comet under a license from Goodmans. Comet held all the technical information related to the model. Comet's business failed. If it was a warranty matter, you might get something. But you are not going to get technical support. Main system control memory IC fault. This is a very small IC; have 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control-chroma IC. Check and replace it. Be sure to replace it with the same number printed on it; in all respect. Otherwise, it won't go. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Before replacing it, try a reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset.
