3. Plug another ethernet cable from one of the LAN ports (1-4) to an ethernet port on the computer your going to use to setup the router.

5. When prompted for a login use USER: admin PASS: 1234, press enter

Locate the reset button on the back of the router. It will either be a small button or pin hole. For the pin hole use a paper clip and press the button for 10 seconds.

Some wireless adaptors may encounter the compatibility problem with some routers when adaptor's driver is out dated. I have a Toshiba laptop that had the same problem. After I installed the latest driver, the problem resolved. You may need to contact manufacturer of the computer to get the updated driver. If you cannot get a driver updated, you can also try to lower the security to WEP.
