NetGear Universal WiFi Range Extender (AAC4001WN2000RPT100NAS) Repeater - Page 8 Questions & Answers
I have asked a question. What is my NETGEAR 71 password
There is a small pen sized hole on the back of the router. Use a ball point pen to press and hold down the reset button for a bout 15 seconds.
Use an Ethernet cable to connect a computer to any one of the four LAN ports of the NETGEAR router.
In a web browser, enter the router's IP address - either
http://192.168.0.1 or
http://192.168.1.1 by default.
When prompted for a Username and Password, enter the default username and password (admin; password). NETGEAR recommends changing the default password to increase the security of your network.

WiFi not working for router
If you can see the SSID for the router from a WiFi device then it sounds like a security key issue. While connected through a cable login to the router. You should be able to trouble shoot the WiFi service from the router UI.

I have Cameras in my Restaurant, with a Buffalo Router i used to just Login to it woth the same address, NETGEAR chooses a New IP address each time, and even when i type the adress to the cameras,
I don't know Buffalo routers in particular, but it should be possible to assign fixed IP to specific network devices.
You stumble over a feature called DHCP that causes network devices to get random IP from a given range. To be clear on this: DHCP randomness is not a fault at all.
Look for "static IP adress" or "fixed adress" in your Buffalo router. It should be in or near the DHCP dialog. Maybe you have to enable expert mode.
In case you found that you can most likely assign IP's like 192.168.x.x (x-es depending on your network) to devices identified by MAC-Address.
MAC Address has nothing to do with Apple Computers. It's a worldwide unique network hardware address. Each of your cameras has one and your router usually displays them somewhere in a list of known network devices. They look like 00:0C:29:9B:AD:B7 or 00-0C-29-9B-AD-B7.
Assign the IP-Addresses you are used to and the cameras should be accessible at their address as soon as you rebooted them once (power off/on).
P.S. There is so much more to know about networking which i can't generalize here. Don't be ashamed to ask someone near to come over and help you set this up. Better than accidentally messing things up.

The security code is wrong, check on the back of the router for a label saying what it should be.

Frontier Modem Router
You need to set up the Wi-Fi on both the router and the PC.
It will default to the Ethernet connection, so don't forget to remove the cable if testing for wireless mode.

If the internet comes into the router, and not the DVD player, then the reason it keeps rebooting is that the internet link is going down.

Check the protocol used by the router and that used by the wireless adaptor. They should be the same, one may not be possible on the other.
