Just a quick try - make sure that the plug is securely in the wall socket - and the back of the TV, if it has a removable cord. The next suggestion would be to make sure that all timers are off. the last thing to look at is ventilation and to make sure the unit is not right on top/close to a heat source. Hi, you certainly need to remove enough data/programs to allow for the new operating system. You should be able to copy these to a usb stick, delete them from the Acer,and then when the new system is installed, reconcile your data/programs and copy back what you can. The easiest to remove is data eg photos, music/movie files. Cheers.

On my Iconia when I see this show up it will be from a low power or a poor wii connection. Basically the signal strength is too low which means the speed drops to the point where everything is timing out before it gets loaded. There are a couple o causes to check . One is too far from the wifi router.the farther away the lower the signal the slower it goes. You have objects blocking the signal such as steel reinforced safety windows or steel mesh in walls. These can block the signal. I have one are where I'm all of 10 feet away and it will barely connect. I have to move about three feet to the side and get ull strength and speed. The orientation of your tablet can effect i you can use a marginal signal or not. Try aiming the edge with the volume buttons towards the wifi. The antenna is oriented in a way that this will slightly improve the signal. The other thing is that your tablet can be fine but your wii router is having problems with its wifi sections. Certain brands will show more errors and then difficulties in connections in as little as a year old (on some about half that). The Iconia has a rather good wifi ability so I wouldn't blame its hardware but would look at the location orientation etc as I have mentioned.

Go to acer.com click on support then download. You next need to select your device to go to its support page. Tablet, then Iconia Tab then W500P then click on image of your tablet. Under DOCUMENT scroll down to find the user manual. You have to scroll down or it doesn't show on the listing. Click on the orange download button at the left of the line listing and the zipped user manual ile will start to download. Your browser will either ask where to save this to or will put it where you have specified under browser options. I you save it to a place you can recall or to your desktop then you can extract the files usually just by clicking on them. Inside will be a pdf file which is your user manual which you will need something like Acrobat reader (free from Adobe) to use to read this file. Face book games require javascript and flash to work. You can try going to the market and installing both but i'm not 100% sure the stock browser will work. And if you have a alternate browser such as mozilla then you ned to install flash etc for that. Now you run into one of the android quirks is that it will only link flash to the fist thing installed and if you open say mozilla to install flash from the market it just says installed and does ot give the install option. So what you have to do is unistall it from the tablet reboot then reinstall it using the browser you wan it in.

For hard reset Follow these steps 1- First turn off your Acer Iconia One 7 B1-730 completely.
