How do I make the waher Kenmore drop the fabric softener

you mean the water pressure switch? you will have to remove the panel then the switch will pop out onnce u remove the hose, and push in the tab and turn slightly to release it. see pics

sounds like a program prob not familiar with this mech but it seems suspect

usually to do with the water pump packing in or the outlet tube from the pump being clogged up with coins ,wires from bra straps etc...

blockage in the hoses but I suspect the pump may have an obstruction or has gone bad?

Lid must be closed for spin to start. If the lid is closed and still no spin, the sensor (switch) for the lid may be bad. If you can locate it and manually trip the sensor, you may find it out of adjustment. Yours may be on the rear-left of the top of washer. Replacing the sensor isn't too difficult or costly...but, always-always unplug the power before you work on it. If you have determined that it is not the sensor, give the timer a little click forward. If that works...the timer may be going bad (not advancing). Does the spin work in other wash cycles? If so, it might be bad timer.

don't know of any reset on this washer.need more info.

You have a bad lid switch. Replace it with this part and you will be good to go!
