Did you just buy the oven new? or is it a little older? Some new ovens are confusing, you have to set the temp, then select broil or heat or toast dials. Check all the dials to see if it shows what you want to do. Hope this helps.

try to find the electrical schematics on line and it should give you the value of the resistors.
