Why does my new iPad get so hot when I play games on it?
Hi Jessica,Much to your chagrin I bet, there's not too many options besides "play it less" if you want to cool your new iPad down. If the heat is an issue for you now it is probably going to continue to be an issue for you later.Having said that, there are a couple ways I have used that seems to cool down the iPad by a few degrees:
- Turn down your screen brightness. This is the best way for you to avoid heating issues. Your new iPad probably came out of the box with brightness turned all the way up. If you turn that down you will notice a decrease in heat immediately.
- Use Wi-Fi instead of 4G LTE whenever possible. Now obviously you can't do this everywhere, but whenever possible you should access the internet via Wi-Fi and avoid riding your 4G LTE chip. That baby is power hungry and will heat up quick.
- Give your A5X chip a break. In less technical terms, try not to play graphics heavy games (like Infinity Blade) for an extended period of time. Like you said in your question, that's when you experience the most heat discomfort. If it is at all possible for you to take even a short break (like 10 minutes every hour) from gaming, it should do a lot to keep the heat down.
I hope that helps you out!

How do I make the new iPad's battery recharge faster?
There are many things you might be doing wrong but slow battery charge is a problem with the new iPad. The battery is actually a lot bigger than the iPad 2 which means it is going to take you much longer to charge.Use the provided charger and don't charge from your computer. It is almost twice as slow to do it plugged into a computer. Charge it at night to give it the most time to charge as possible. I usually turn it off so programs don't run and slow down the charging speed. Every little bit helps.I can help you with other things too if you ask.

Is there a way to edit the screen ratio on my iPad 3 HD?
There is no way to edit the screen ratio on the new iPad or any iPad for that matter. They went with 4:3 because the majority of users use the device to browse the internet and read e-magazines or e-books on it. As you know the screen gets cut off when you go to fullscreen or it has those annoying black bars above and below. If you're looking to watch video do it on a computer or your TV. The new iPad isn't made for heavy video watching IMO.
