Take you drumback out and lookinto the machine with a flashlight.
There should be a piece of glass that isolates the laser from the rest of the machine, check for dust or toner. Clean if necessary.

Try using the RPCS (Ricoh's proprietary print driver) for printing from Word, and see if that works any better. You could also try another version of PCL -- if you're using PCL6, try PCL5, for example.

Print the copy counter of the machine, check if the life of the drum unit is already reached. If the drum is ok, then you have to clean the laser unit. maybe dirt is blocking the light coming from the LD unit.

Hi, the "Replace Photoconductor" message does come up after a preset number of copies, typically about 60,000. The photoconductor will still continue to work fine, and even with the message displayed the copier should run like normal. The message will keep flashing until you replace the photoconductor, and then it will automatically detect the new unit and the message will disappear.

You either have a defective thermostat (thermistor) in your fuser, or a defective power supply. The error can only be reset by a tech in service mode after the problem is fixed
