Printing a Booklet on a Ricoh Africio 3260C
first you need to use the RPCS printer driver supplied by ricoh. Second then go to printer properties box and then select the tab for finishing, you should then see the options for booklet printing, if the option are not there you have to add the finisher in the printer driver as an option

Ricoh Aficio 2238c: Fuser Oil Unit
you really can not refill the bottle but I would recommend two things. One find a fuser oil unit on ebay and order it quickly. Next hit the yellow clear modes button, then hit the numbers 1 0 7 , then hold the red clear stop button till the display panel changes. hit copy sp, select 7 data log. now use the page down arrows located in the middle of the disply till you see 7804 push it then go to #10 oil supply and hit execute. this will reset the oil counter and allow you to use the machine till you get the new unit.

I have a ricoh aficio cl7000 and there is a error
No, the PCU is separate from the toner. It is basically the drum imaging unit, and it can easily be replaced if you have a new one. When you open the printer's front door there are a row of black units running diagonally down the front of the copier -- the black PCU is the upper left most one.
You can buy a new black PCU from your local dealer, or else you can find one online from many different sites. Make sure you get the black one -- the color PCUs are separate.

My Ricoh CL7000 is saying
It could be a clog in the toner tube, but the most likely (and easiest to fix) problem is the magenta DV unit. Replace the magenta DV unit, turn the machine off and back on, and if it still says add magenta toner open and close the toner cover so that it can load toner, then your problem should be gone.

How do you refill fuser
It is a fuser oil cartridge. When you replace it the counter gets reset automatically. It is located on top of the fuser unit. This is the part that gets hot and is located right where the paper exits the printer. It is accessed from the left side upper doors. Here is a link to a site that sells the unit as well as all the parts and supplies for your printer. The top picture on this link is the fuser oil cartridge so you can see what it looks like which will assist you in locating the unit in your printer.
Installation instructions are included in the box with the new oil cartridge.

I get a magenta strip (horizontal on A4/letter
If the stripe is only Magenta in color then I would highly suspect the Magenta Drum Unit to be the cause. All 4 color drums in these machines are interchangable so you COULD take the Magenta drum out and swap it with the Cyan or other color to see if the color of the stripe changes from Magenta to Cyan. These drums are pretty cheap at around $50.00 so if it were me I would just order one and replace it. If you want to try the swap then just open the front door and look for the grey color plastic bar that runs from upper left down to the lower right. Flip the green handle over that is close to the upper left end. Then loosen the 2 screws at either end of the grey bar. Lift up the bar and then you will see the Drum and Developer Units. The Drum units have the little green tab on the upper right side of the unit. The Developer Units have the green loop "handle" on them. Locate and remove the Magenta drum (just look for the magenta colored Developer Unit and the Magenta Drum is just above it) and whatever color drum you want to swap it with and switch the 2 around. Close the grey bar and secure the 2 screws, close the green handle and the front door and test.
The testing is not really necessary tho as the problem I am sure is the drum unit.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

My ricoh printer is showinf an error of sc440-2
sc440 on the CL7000 is a drum motor error. sc440-2 is specific to the color drum motor. The problem is either the motor itself, the drum gear position sensor, or one or more of the color photoconductor units. The photoconductor units you can replace yourself if you have extras -- see if that will clear up the problem.
If they don't, you'll need to contact a service technician to inspect (and replace if need be) the motor and sensor.
Please rate this solution if it was helpful. Thanks!

What do i need to
If your an office staff and not an IT Person get your IT department to move it. If your an IT person you should be able to just unplug the power and network cable and move it to the new location with a cart and another person to help you. But if your in a big office you will need to make sure that there is a netowrk port thats in the area that you want the printer and to make sure the network port is active. Just becareful this printer isnt light.

I am getting SC412 on my Ricoh Aficio 1224C, how
sc412 on a 1224 is 2nd transfer (paper transfer) disconnection (+).
The possible causes are:
- The right cover is open
- The transfer roller contact mechanism is broken
- A bad high voltage supply board
- A bad BICU-to-HVSB cable
Parts for the 1224 will be obsolete soon if they are not already, so you're probably better off upgrading to a newer copier if closing that right cover and resetting the machine doesn't fix it.
