Casio Exilim EX-S500 Digital Camera - Page 9 Questions & Answers
Copying pictures from PC to the memory card.
When you connect your camera to the pc, via usb cable I presume, don't use the software that came with the camera, instead open the MY COMPUTER icon on the desktop, or in the windows START BUTTON. Your camera should in fact be recognized and appear as a new disk drive with its own drive letter or name.
If that happens, open the new drive window, and you should be able to see the folders that your camera uses to store pictures taken with it. It may depend on the picture frame requirements, but seems to me that you can now just drag and drop, cut, copy and paste any pictures you want right to the memory card drive, and I would not put them in any folder created by the camera, just on the memory card itself.
The other alternative is to purchase a memory card reader/writer for your type of card. They usually accept every card out there, and now you would be able to use that device to copy to and from the memory card without the need for a pc.
Hope that helps.

Casio ex-s500 front facade around lens has come off
My wife accidentally dropped ours and the ring popped off when it hit the floor. It does just twist back on. You just have to get it lined up just right and then it will essentially snap into place. If you don't get the ring lined up right though it will just conitinue to fall off. I've had focussing issues with mine ever since the ring came off though.
