I have Lexmark p4350 I can not copy, and show error 2200

According to the Lexmark site the 2200 error is a jam, possibly the scanner. Try unpluging the power at the printer, remove the paper, and see if there is any paper stuck in the unit. Another possibility is the cartridges are messed up. If you don't find paper stuck, remove the cartridges, and reinstall the color one. If the error goes away, the black cartridge is possibly bad. Another problem you can't fix, which is the scanner glass cracked. In that instance or if the cartridge swap doesn't work, contact Lexmark to fix the unit.

P4350

The carrier slides back and forth on a bar that must slide smoothly. When you open the printer up, the heads come to the center for cartridge removal, so that part of the bar is oiled. Try lightly spraying a silicone or Teflon spray or a drop of high quality machine oil to the bar where the head will go through it, smearing it along the the bar. Another part is the plastic belt with teeth on it that moves the head from side to side. If the teeth have broken off, the head won't move properly. Some of these printers have an entire head assembly where the cartridges set that can be removed after the cartridges are out. If this print head assembly is damaged or worn out you will also get the error. The head damage is usually because some one yanked jammed paper vigorously out, pushing the head out of position, or the print head was moving when something stopped the head.

My Lexmark p4350 won't scan to my computer

I need more information. Have you replaced your cartridges with a non-Lexmark type? Did you try putting the USB cable in a different USB slot? Is the Lexmark power supply working? Did the printer get dropped? Did you try rebooting your system?

Printer won't print - error 1203

Tell me how long the printer sat with empty cartridges? More than 30 days? You may want to deploy this trick: take new ink cartridges out, put them to the side. take the hair dryer and for 2-3 min, blow hot air around the area and clean up the ink with alcohol swabs until clean! Also clean with alcohol, the contact points and surrounding area. Reinsert the ink and try and see if the printer recognizes new ink.

How do I change margin

If you are preparing to print a document that you have created in Microsoft Word, you may be concerned that all the text on the page will print exactly as you see it on your screen. This is not always the case. You can adjust your print margins to ensure that your text prints on each page exactly the way you would like it to appear.

Opening Your Document
Open your Microsoft Word document by double-clicking the Word icon on your desktop. If you do not see the icon on your desktop, then you can locate it where it is buried on your "Start" menu. Click "Start," followed by "All Programs." Then click "Microsoft Office," followed by "Microsoft Office Word." A new document will open on your screen. Click the "Office Button," followed by "Open." Scroll through the files listed, and double-click the one you would like to print. It will open on your screen.

Check Your Margins
By default, your page margins are set to 1-inch margins on the top, bottom, right and left of your page. You can check your margins or change them by clicking "Page Layout," followed by the "Margins" button.

Select New Margins
Select a different margin size, such as "Narrow," which indicate 1/2-inch margins, or "Wide," which indicate one-inch margins on the top and bottom and two-inch margins on the left and right. You also can select "Moderate," which indicate one-inch margins on the top and bottom and 3/4-inch margins on the left and right. Finally, you can select "Mirrored," which indicates one-inch margins for the top, bottom and outside. The inside margins are set at 1 1/4 inches.

Print Your Page
Print your page. Press "Control" plus the "P" button. The printer dialog menu will come up. Make sure that "All Pages in Range" is selected. Press "OK." If your printer cannot print your new margins, then a new menu will pop up telling you to adjust your margins.

I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

I can not format my memory card

This is more of a general step that usually works with a lot of things, but try turning it off then on again with the memory card still inserted. If it still fails to mount & format it, try formatting it with another device if you have one.

Printer only prints one page of multiple page document

hi..

You may try to change the spool data format:

1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Printers and Other Hardware" and "Printers and Faxes."

("Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound" and "Printers" for Vista...)

2. Then, right click on the Lexmark printer icon and left click "Properties."

3. Either on the "Advanced" tab or the "General" tab for some models, there is a "Print Processor" button, left click it.

4. This is the spool format setting. Under "Print processor" it should be set to "Lexmark *** series print processor." Next, under "Default datatype," select "NT EMF 1.008."

5. Click "OK" and exit back out to your desktop.

6. Try printing again.

My printer only prints the first page

You may want to verify that your in your printer menu it is set up to print the entire document not just the screen view document. If it is on the screen view it will only print what you can currently see, not the additional pages.
