I cant install lexmark printer

Please make sure that you have installed the correct drivers for your printer. Also, please mention the operating system you are using.

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the everything turns back on, reconnect the printer into the computer. Wait for your computer to fully recognize the usb connection. Try to scan again.
You can also try to update your printer driver. Just insert the installation disc into the pc hard drive and run the setup application.
The fax picks up every call
Most fax machines are set-up to pick up all calls. There isn't a way to know you are receiving a voice call until the fax picks up and doesn't hear the tracer signal that kills our human ears.
You could change the number of rings it takes the fax machine to pickup the call. If you set it to the max, you would have plenty of time to pick-up. this option is normally part of the settings on the machine itself.
The only other options are to unplug the fax when you aren't expecting to receive a message, or get a dedicated fax line. It depends on how much you use the fax.

Error message says "right cartridge
It could be that your right cartridge is not properly seated in the carrier. Open the printer and remove both cartridges. Close the cover. Unplug and replug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reinsert both cartridges and make sure they are seated properly and securely. If error still appears, try to insert a different known working cartridge to determine if the other is faulty.

It could be a faulty cartridge. Have you already tried inserting a different known working cartridge? If error continues to pop-up even with a different new or a known working cartridge, then it could be a hardware problem. Try to contact Lexmark technical support on the phone for additional assistance.
Error message says close cover -- when we try to
Open the cover, and look carefully -- there is a small "sensor" that should be activated as you close the door. If the sensor is malfunctioning, then it never sends the "door-is-closed" signal to your computer. There might be some paper-dust that is interfering with the sensor.
Replaced new ink keeps saying right cartrige is
Wiping the nozzles with a moistened soft cloth or removing and reinserting the cartridges usually helps. The cartridges for the Lexmark X7170 are black: 32/34 and color: 33/35. If these are the cartridges that you purchased and even tried your old and new cartridges yet the problem persists, please don't hesitate to contact Lexmark technical support.
Paper jam at back door
sometimes you can't see the paper jam, it may be a small peice of paper that tore off a page while going through, you need to take the top and back off the case and look closely at the rollers to see if there is something in there.
