In settings or when you print a test page

Check the paper guides on the paper tray, check if they are set to the correct paper size.

Please access the Diagnostics Menu.To enter the Diagnostic Mode:1. Turn the printer off.2. Press and hold the Go and Return buttons.3. Turn the printer on.4. Release the buttons when "Performing Self Test" displays onthe operator panel.Once you are in the Diagnostics Mode, choose Printer Setup and then select Permanent Page Count.

Right click Lexmark imaging solution icon, click Set up and Diagnosis printer, click Printing Status, remove check mark in play voice for printing events, click OK.

Exact error message - Mirror Motor speed detect error


These errors usually indicate a
failure in the HYSNC signal to the
printhead. Check the continuity of
the cables connected to J3 and J8
on the engine board. If incorrect,
replace the defective cable. The
voltage at J8-4 measures
approximately +5 V dc. If incorrect,
replace the engine board. The
voltage at J3-7 measures
approximately +24 V dc. If incorrect,
replace the engine board. If correct,
replace the printhead assembly.

If printhead assembly is at fault, the cost of the new one is around $200.

Open the tray and make sure the green paper lever is set to letter mark, both at the bottom of the paper and the one on the side. And yes, if you haven't used it for 3 years, you should clean the dust that settled inside your printer over time.

Sounds like a bad cartridge return it to where you bought it and ask for another

922 Fuser Error message indicates that the fuser unit failed to reach the standby temperature. This usually requires a service call but try to turn off the printer for 30 seconds before turning it back on to give the engine board a chance to reset. Make sure the printer is plugged in straight to the power outlet in the wall. Bypass any surge device or power strip as they can cause low amperage. If the problem continues or if the error appears every time the printer is powered on, you will probably need service on the machine.

First thing to do is get the top off which can be easier said than done. The printer has four screws holding the top. After that remove the control panel by undoing the four screws holding it in place. This isn't strictly necessary but it makes life easier. Now move the print head to the left. To do this you have to lower a locking bar that is located at the base of the head. The head can be quite hard to move but it does slide left. Under the print heads you will find two pads of hard foam. These collect the ink when you perform a normal head clean and keep the print head moist. Soak these with water . Pool water on them and let it run through (it goes through to a large pad at the bottom of the machine by the way). Fold some tissue and lay it on the base when the heads pass over. Push the head back and forth over the tissue to clean the actual head. The tissue will come out covered in ink.Now for the tricky part get an old printer cartridge and remove the label on top that says "do not remove". Under the label you will find a couple of holes. Widen them / open them with a drill bit about 3 mm is good. Fill the cartridge with water and put it in the printer. Push the heads back over to the right as far as they will go. This will cause the sponges to come right up against the heads. Leave the set up over night. In the morning test the printer. Run a couple of head cleans with the cleaning cartridge in. Your problem is solved now
