I have a lexmark x125 all in one printer, it dosnt

Great job on changing the connection cord. Also, try removing the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the rectangular black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Wait at least 30 seconds before plugging the power adapter back in the printer. Properly secure it behind the printer. If that doesn't help, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem. Thanks

I have Lexmark X125, when i connect it, power

Hi, here are some checklist for power problems with the printer.
1. Make sure the printer is plugged in to a known working power outlet.
2. Disconnect/Reconnect power cord from power outlet and the back of the printer.
3. With the power cord connected to the power supply(the black box where the power cord is plugged in behind the printer) and the other end plugged in to the power outlet, unplug the power supply from printer and check if it is warm or cold. It might be a defective power supply.
Hope this will help you find the problem.

My printer feeds 5 pieces of time? Any idea why?

Hi there

Before you put paper in to the printer you should gave them a good shake to lessen them up and put the paper some where it is worm, this is only because the paper is sticking to each other.

Most likely the printer driver on the CD is not compatible with Windows 7. Download the latest printer driver from Lexmark. Click on this link to their WEB site :-

Tried to print and it says remove paper jam and

Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer

Change ink prompt stays on after changing all

Read on and see if any applies to you.
Check that you removed the protective tape. some cartridges have two of these pieces of tape one over the head and possibly on on the contacts to the printer.

If you recently re-filled or had the cartridge refilled or even bought one of the many cheaper replacement cartridges you should read on

Most modern cartridges have an ink level chip built on to them.
Should the level drop below 25% then most of these chips lock up and will not reset.

Re-filling them will have no effect

If you are lucky you should be able to find either a
chip resetter around on the INTERNET or maybe even local

OR

Even better empty cartridges that
never need to be reset.
The second option is my preference

I realise these are not for your specific printer but there are others listed on both those sites as well.

cheaper cartridge problems have been on the rise recently and that is for ALL makes of printer.
If you try to clean the contacts be VERY careful cleaning contacts and ONLY use isopropynol on a lint free bud or cloth.
Also be very gentle.

I have seen the contacts cleaned and cartridges ruined with other methods of cleaning.
Rubbing too hard can also cause a badly set chip to move making it inoprable.

I dont like full prices replacements either which is why I always provide the links
I usually reccomend that people take back any cartridge that does not work right from the get-go.

I dont know of anyone who has had a problem doing that be it a shop refill or otherwise.

No matter if I paid $1 or $100 for a cartrdige I would still expect it to work

How do you print No. 10 envelopes?

If you have Microsoft Word go to "Tools", "Letters and Mailings", then "Envelopes and Labels". Usually it will even show you, for your printer, exactly how and where to place you envelope. If you are in doubt, just a blank piece of paper to set it up. Be sure to mark the paper with an arrow so you know which side and which end when into the printer first.

Get message error change cartriges the cartriges

All cartridge installation and level reporting is done through the printer itself, not the software. You should ensure the X125 has the cartridges installed in stand alone mode first. To do so, open the lid and remove the cartridges. Then unplug the power cord for one minute. Reinsert the cartridges, connect the power cord and close the lid. When the lid is closed, the display will ask you if "New" or "Old" cartridges were installed. If new, align the cartridges, if asked to do so. If this still presents you with a "Change Cartridge" message or something similar, please try a different cartridge.
