If you are encountering power problems with your printer, please go through the following checklist:
If a printer does not get a steady rate of print jobs it will perform self maintenance to preserve the print system. These maintenance cycles will vary since they are dependent on overall usage. If a printer is not connected to a power source for an extended period of time, you may have to run a clean or deep clean of the printhead to recover.
Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X83 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.
Should you really need the installation disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.
1.
Make sure the printer is on.
2.
Open the printer cover. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the
loading position, unless the All-in-One is busy.
Note: If
the carrier does not automatically move to the center, turn off the
printer/unplug the printer from the power source and then slide the carrier to
the center.
3.
Remove both cartridges from the carrier.
4.
Close the printer cover.
5.
Rebrick (pull out power supply, black box where the
power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30
seconds).
6.
When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first.
7.
Close the printer cover and check for any errors.
8.
If no error appears, reinsert the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.
9.
Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new
cartridge.
If problem continues,
