Hello
If the battery isn't too far gone, here's how to revive it: Plug the device into the Kindle A/C adapter (not your computer) and let it charge for a few hours. If you still see the same Critical Battery screen after charging, unplug the USB cord, then hold the power slide to the right for at least 20 seconds

Hello

The button is located in the back next to the on button. Some Amazon Kindles come without a physical button to turn Whisper net on, but you can easily access the "power" for turning Whisper net on from directly on the device. Press the Menu button from the Home screen.

Hello

Just follow these steps to fix this issue:

1. Plug the device into the Kindle A/C adapter (not your computer) and let it charge for a few hours. Be sure the charging light is lit -- sometimes a drained Kindle will stop charging a few seconds after you plug it in. Unplug and replug until the light stays on steadily, then leave it alone. Most of the time you'll come back to a restored kindle. If not, go on to step 2.
2. If you still see the same Critical Battery screen after charging, unplug the USB cord, then hold the power slide to the right for at least 20 seconds.
3. Release the power slide, then immediately press and hold the Home key for another 30 - 45 seconds.
4. Once the Kindle's screen begins to flash, release the Home key. The eReader will boot to recovery mode. To continue, press and hold the R key until the screen flashes again.
5. After the device is finished rebooting, you may see the Critical Battery screen once more. If so, plug in the USB cord and wait for the Kindle to return to the Home screen.

Hello Friend Here are the steps on how to install a third-party app using your PC:
  1. Use Google to search for the app you've been looking for.
  2. Download the app once found. There are downloads that would already contain the app itself and it will be in a form of an APK file. There are those that will contain a compressed file which you need to extract to get the APK file.
  3. You have to install a file manager into your Kindle Fire. You should be able to find several at the Amazon Appstore. Just search the app store for "file manager."
  4. Connect the device to your PC using a USB cable.
  5. Tap on the Connect button which will automatically appear on the screen of the device once connected.
  6. Copy the APK file that you just downloaded.
  7. Browse the directories or folders of the Kindle Fire from your PC and paste the APK file on one of the device folders.
  8. Disconnect the tablet from your PC. Tap the disconnect button first before pulling out the cable from your PC.
  9. Open the file manager app on your Kindle Fire and look for the directory where the APK file was stored.
  10. Tap on the APK file to install the app.

You can buy a HooToo. It is a little box that created its own wifi between the box and the tablet. It is not a hotspot to use for surfing. It will hold up to a 128Gb Micro SD card and up to 5 tablets can access the content at one time. Check them out on Amazon, they work well up to about 30 feet for the HooToo. So 5 kids can be in the car all watching different movies.
