On the far left in a box is CONTACT US. Fill out the form and choose how they should contact you. If you leave your phone they will call back and talk you through how to fix the problem. They may ask the return so they can work on it. Amazon help is always free. You only pay if you have to return it.

I lost my kindle in July, 2015. I have not ordered any books for the reader. What do I do now. I think someone has been ordering on my account.
Navigate to amazon.com on a computer. Immediately access Your Account and navigate to "Manage your Content and Devices." Under Devices locate your lost Kindle and deregister it.
As a precaution you should also visit your account settings and delete your credit card(s) on file. Leave them deleted for a day or two and then return to devices to be sure that the lost Kindle is no longer listed. If it is still listed or in any way visible, then you should call Amazon. (Amazon's software is quirky; sometimes they won't take down a device that you deregister no matter how you try. In this case you must call them. Be warned: calling Amazon is also a nightmare. Be sure you have at least an hour or two to waste, beginning with a conversation with some ignorant tech assistant located in Asia or the middle east.)
I PURCHSED SEVERAL KINDLE BOOKS WITH ANOTHER COMPUTER. Can I download them to a new computer?
Yes, if you register the second computer to the same Amazon account that you set up on the first computer. (Note: Amazon limits to six the number of devices that you can download a given book to.)
To download books onto your second computer, first load the Kindle app to the computer and register it. Then run the app and access the Archive associated with your account. (The archive will be shown as an entry on the same screen that your books will be listed or displayed on.) Just click on the Archive and you will see a list of all books that you have purchased from Amazon (assuming that they have not already been downloaded to the maximum number of permitted devices, in which case you won't see them or if you do see them, you won't be able to download them until you erase them from another machine) . Click on a book and it will immediately be downloaded to your (second) computer.
I ordered a book today, "Stuffology102" I read it and closed it. Now I can't open it up again. How do I do that?
From the list of books tap the book you want to open. That should do it. If not check your cloud account. Everything is listed there. press/release the title there You should see it downloading it to your kindle. Go back to your 'on device' list and try to open it again.
If that doesn't work contact amazon.com from your computer. Below the address bar you will see Your Account. Place mouse over it and click Your Account from the list. On right side you will see kindle help home. Click and the next list on left side click contact us. Fill in the info and I recommend a call back. They will assign the best person for your problem and when they call they will talk you through how to fix it.
