Washes but won't spin. how do I open the filter
Not spinning is usually a broken belt/pulley. You can check by taking off the top of the WM, usually just 4 screws on the side (sometimes hidden below white covers).
It could also be the (carbon) brushes that are worn down.
Check out this video or a similar one for your make of washing machine. If you're handy you can replace them yourself after checking IF they are worn down (usually they decrease in length, check against image of "new ones"). I get my spare parts from http://www.europart.nl/wasmachine+onderdelen
How to replace washing machine carbon brushes on Bosch washer
I need to replace the seal round the door but cannot remove the old one
Take the top panel off by removing the two screws underneath the lid at the rear and look down inside towards the front door edge of the drum you will see a very large metal hose clips holds the door seal on. A screwdriver will loosen the clip then the clip will slip off and then the seal can be removed and replaced
Locked
1) lock is defective or 2) the key is defective, see if some locksmith can make a new one. however you can bypass the lock key for to see if the machine will be RUN. Otherwise the problem is another place see the diagram attached. God bless you
The stain remover button extra rinse button wont
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter- so many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Stain remover light and extra rinse button wont go
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter- so many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters.

(If these actions have not cured the problem, it could be the control board OR the main motor. Motors will show weaknesses when commanded to spin.)

The selector knob keep on
Seems possible that the program timer unit is faulty and needs to be confirmed., Use a degreasing spray to clean the contacts and if there is no result the timer unit might be faulty. Since this is an expensive part , it is best to SWAP one to confirm before you invest or get one from a scrapped/damaged set. Pleas make a note off the wiring in detail before the part is removed or replaced.
I have read that F05

ELECTRICITY KEEPS TRIPPING WHEN YOU SHUT THE DOOR.
Hi,
Sorry but I'm sure you can appreciate that it is impossible for us on this forum to judge what is causing the problem without actually being there; it could be any number of possible causes.
It would be different if there were some error code displaying or particular lights flashing but the power is being cut before there is a chance ;-0(
Sorry again but I suggest your only option is to call a service engineer to investigate.
Good luck,
John C
Washing machine keeps filling up
You have a faulty inlet valve or there is a bit of dirt caught in the valve seats. Replace the valve but shut off the inlet faucet until you can do that.

Yes, the seal can be replaced, and the reason for the mould is that you are doing too many low temperature washes.
You should periodically do a max high temp wash to help keep the seal clean and stop it from smelling.
