My dyson dc07 brush is

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial. There are a number of reasons why your brush roller has stopped moving. General maintenance to your vacuum is crucial and will help it work at peak performance. First things first lets focus on the brush roller. Unplug the vacuum and turn it on its side. Look for any noticeable clumps of debris or hair strands that may be caught in the brush roller. Remove these obstructions, probably best to do so with a scissor if it's hair or long pieces of carpet fibers. After removing the debris try manually rotating the brush roller to uncover other hidden clogs. Another thing to take note of is the condition of the bristles on the roll itself. Are they loose or worn down? These are signs that your brush roller is in need of replacing. While checking out your brush roll you might as well take a look at your vacuums belt. Your belt should be replaced about every three months. After regular usage, the belt will stretch out, lessening the tension on the brush roller. Lesser tension diminishes the brush roller's turn rate and speed. If the belt feels loose then it certainly is affecting your vacuums suction as well as your brush roll not moving at all. Dyson vacuum has no suction but beater bar spins

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial. Most of the time the reason why vacuum is not picking up is due to loss of suction. You may need to check for blockages of your wand and hose. Remove the wand and hose from your cleaner when checking for blockages and any damages. Make sure to turn off and unplug your vacuum from the power before doing this. Please refer to your manual for more information on how you can remove blockages: You can purchase a wide variety of high quality Dyson replacement parts for your Dyson Vacuum direct from Think Crucial with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10 https://www.thinkcrucial.com/search?type=product&q=dyson I hope this was helpful. Just started use my dyson dc07 it is new but is very noisy after my dc04 broke down.

Your dc04 breaking down is unlikely to be causing the excessive noise of your new dc07 unless you've trying to vacuum up the dc04 with the dc07?? It may be that the operating noise of a dc04 is lower that that of a dc07 however if the noise is excessive then you should get it replaced by the vendor.

Dyson DC07 Clear Bin Flap will not release

I just received my replacement root cyclone in the mail today after waiting in the back-ordered status for three months. I positioned a butter knife in between the rubber gasket on the bottom flap lid and the bottom rim of the clear bin at the farthest point from the hinge and slowly and gently wiggled the knife between until the bottom flap just fell open. I examined the rubber gasket and it survived without injury and the bottom flap seals without any gaps...good luck

Hey, this is Leland with Crucial Vacuum, If the brush bar is not working properly there may be several reasons. Firstly, the motor may be the problem.
