Hi this is a common problem, this can happen when Non-original inks are used, or IF the contacts in the Ink holder are dirty.

If Non-original inks are used often special circuitry stops them from being used, believe it or not.. this can be a cause.

If it is suspected the contacts are dirty, (if any) then gently clean them with alcohol and a wipe, I sometimes gently scratch them with a flat sharp instrument..gently, lightly clean them.

Another fault we see in the shop is a faulty main board, what happens is the main Motherboard faults and it will not "recognise" correctly installed and original cartridges.

This is most often a "Terminal" condition. As the cost of repair is cost prohibitive.

Another fault seen is loose cables where they mate on the mother board actually to this end, it never hurts to ensure all connections are OK. I always press them all down again to make sure anyway.

Its better to just remove them clean them up and replace it in the printer, because usually some printers require a reset code to re-set the waste ink counter. If the counter is not re-set there will come a time when then printer will refuse to print.

Here is how to clean your waste ink absorber;

Open the printer and locate the waste ink absorber near the ink cartridge.

Remove the absorber pad and hold it in cold water while squeezing the ink out. It would be wise to wear gloves while doing this, because the ink in the pad will leave stains.

Use paper towels to dry the waste ink absorber pad. Let it dry completely before installing it back in the printer.

Reinstall the ink pad into the printer and run a test page to make sure it works.

Reverse Printing if i get it like this ....here it seem to be like this

Printers print what's sent to them, so you need to reverse the image before sending it. If your graphics program doesn't allow for mirroring an image, you can find instructions for producing a transparency, which is often in reverse.. however, the best way is to flip it in the software.

Some printer drivers have a check box in the driver dialog box that will allow you to flip the whole page, or shrink it to fit to the page, or allow multiple prints. If so, these printing functions will be found by opening the printer folder and selecting the printer properties.

most probably the waste ink counter is full.. you will need to reset the waste counter and replace the porous pad..

have you tryed a head clean? try this if it still does it what i did when mine did this i found it was the ink cart take the ink cart out get a cotten woolplug cut one end off and stick it in the bottem of the ink cart with the other end that still got the wool on just clean insite printer where cart goes regards mark

Sound from ur printer!!!! You will be going to a service center.... that should be a hardware issue...

It could be a problem with holder shaft & Rollers. Turn off the printer and clean the rollers with lint free cloth.

make sure you shuffle the paper before placing them in the tray and stack the paper tray properly for any loose connections.

If you haven't done so, run the alignment setup again. If that doesn't work, put in new cartridges and see if there are still lines in your printout. Paper is not set correctly. Set the paper correctly, then press the Maintenance
button.This error is detected when the top of paper cannot be detected with the PE Sensor in a paper loading.

It might be in your start menu Click on start/ accessories....If not Click on start, my computer, C Drive, Windows, System32, and scroll down to Clipbrd.exe.

plug your printer in port go to your start panel go to devices and printers on the very botton youll see a yellow box on one of thouse printers right click on mouse then its going to ask you to trouble shoot it ok now its going to tell you to fix go to fix then windows will find the right driver from there.

one of several issues can cause slowness in any program or hardware

1) your HardDiskDrive capacity is peaked ( small amount of hard drive space will cause slowness in computer : you need at least 20%-25% (15-20G space to run OS and software) of HDD capacity to run your computer w/o problems

2) you may have a virus , go to www.malwarebytes.org and www.microsoft.com to download MS Security Essentials

3) run Disk defarg and Disk Cleanup

4) reinstall the Epson printer drivers if you have to , www.epson.com
