If you have previously had a paper jam, and it tore the paper, there could be a very tiny piece of paper stuck in the feed on the side...it only takes something very tiny to prevent the paper from feeding correctly...a child dropping a little piece of food, it could be anything...but I'd be about 90% sure that it's there. I found one once and it was so small it took forever to find it, and it was even harder to get out...you kind of have to work at it with some Q-tips, eyebrow
tweezers, a paperclip, something that you can go in and attempt to clear the feed. If you dont/can't find it you may have to take it apart, and that's not fun, and runs the risk of it "never" aligning correctly...so be persistant.
FYI...I had another guy with the very same post today, and gave him the same suggestion...he found a pen cap in the back of his printer, LOL...so get a flashlite, some very small tools, and have a look-see.
