Assuming the card is not faulty and it is connected coorectly:

Go to Windows>Tools>Format SD Card and it will format to suit the phone.

Note: Formatting will erase all info existing on the card.

you need to install the pc suit of the device on the system.use the cd that comes with it to do that.But if dont have the cd goto http://google.com enter the model of your device and add pc suit at the end then click search download and install

I am sorry to hear regarding the problem. This is a common problem on this handset. There are a proper troubleshooting steps that we offer to the customers which are :-

1.Have you tried charging it through USB through your desktop or notebook? There are certain occasions when i have seen cradle or A/C adapter being at fault.If you have not tried, it would be worth to give a shot.

2. If it's a new battery, we recommend charging it for 8 hours ( only for the first time), remove the battery, soft reset and then reinsert the battery.

3. Charge the device for approximately 30 minutes on A/C adapter ( not on the cradle ).

4. Try full hardware reset.

5. Charge the battery for 4 hours ( A/C only ) and then soft reset it after 4 hours.

If these would not help, this would confirm an internal failure. It is highly suggestive of ' blown IC ' on the power board, however sometimes it could be due to firmware failure.

UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NO WAY TO RECOVER THE DATA ON THE MACHINE IN THIS CONDITION.

I don't know where you are in the world, but searching eBay for "SDIO" usually turns up a good selection of SD wifi cards.

Yes, you can. You do not need any cd, only must configure a bluetooth network connection between the PC and Pocket PC and then can browse internet, skype and etc. If You don't know how make network connection between pc's, please ask, I can help with it.

your machine's scan disk drive could be getting old and not work i think your best bet is to buy a new one or replace it.

So you can just copy a jpeg file over to the IPAQ and then click on that file and it will display it. It's best to resize your photo down to below 100KB before you copy it to the IPAQ.

did you install the following: "iPAQ H3970/H3975 SD Card Driver Updates version 1.1 (27 Oct 03)" SP25681 - Resolves performance issues with SD memory card. - Resolves undetected SD memory card. - Resolves lockups due to SD memory card.

Try this, take the ipaq off the cradle, turn the ipaq off (if you can), restart the desktop, put the ipaq back in thc cradle, turn the ipaq on, and restart ROM update again.

Hi, Have you performed a full reset rather than the normal reset? It might help but you will loss any settings you have so be warned. Procedure as follows: 1. Press and hold the two outer buttons on the bottom of your iPAQ. 2. While holding down those buttons, use the stylus to press the reset switch for at least five seconds. The screen will go blank. 3. Connect the iPAQ Pocket PC to the AC adapter. 4. Run through the Setup Wizard to reestablish system and calibration settings. I hope this helps,

Windows 7 should be the OS. If you go to safe mode, it should complete booting and then you can list the errors but I suspect there is a driver error. Maybe the wrong version in there.

Hopefully it will still work with a new battery and power supply to charge it. They were quite reasonable back in 2008. Win7 software (no longer supported) and fairly fast.
