How do I setup my HP iPaq 2210 to access the

First of all, you should install the driver for your wlan-11b card to your PDA. (There should be a CD given with the wifi card, or you can download in online through the card's brand's website, ex. .cab file for a Spectec SDW821 Wi-Fi Card) At this step, you should be carefull with the version of windows mobile on your device and the driver's version for windows mobile. After that, you should plug your wifi card to your PDA's SD slot, and your PDA will recognize it. So you can go to your settings, and there you can search for a wireless network.

First thing you can do is force quit, by holding the Home button.
If not resolved, try a forced restore. Plug it in to your Mac/PC and hold the Home button until the "Dock to iTunes" screen shows on your iTouch.

I recently found a compaq

There is no firmware update for this model. Here you can download all system software, but if the Ipaq works fine, just keep the driver link for future reference: Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC h3600 series - Download drivers and software ..

If instead the system works, just put inside a big SD card and download the software below:

Free software: iPAQ Freeware

Shareware limited time:

iPAQ Shareware
Commercial software: iPAQ Commercial

Using a keyboard

Hi there

Today I am going to show you how to get your Targus Stowaway Keyboard to run on your Pocket Pc! Go to http://www.limewire.com and simply download Lime Wire, once you have done so, search for Targus Stowaway Keyboard Driver for Pocket Pc (I searched for: Targus Stowaway Keyboard Driver for Compaq Ipaq H3630 Pocket Pc), as this is my Pocket Pc model and make. Then go to http://www.google.com and search for Microsoft Activesync, find a website where you can download this for free and then download it and set it up and have it in "sync" with your Pocket Pc. Then, while you are still in Lime Wire, open the file you just downloaded and let it do it's thing, once you have done this, your Desktop Pc and your Pocket Pc will tell you to reset the device (Your Pocket Pc), when it tells you to do this, it does not mean you must do a "Hard Reset" (A "Hard Reset" is when you switch off the device at the bottom of the pocket pc, which makes you lose all of your programmes and all the stuff you have on your Pocket Pc) what it means is that you must turn off your device at the on/off button at the top of your device and then turn it back on. Now your keyboard should work! Once you have done all of this, you might have a problem with your menu (Your menu is in the middle of your screen), to fix this problem go to "Settings" and click on "Menus", once this has opened, search for "Stowaway" and un-tick the box next to it. If you have any more problems or questions about your Compaq Ipaq Pocket Pc or your Targus Stowaway Keyboard please send me an e-mail at [email protected]

Kind regards

Memory upgarde ipaq 3630

Hi there

1) Where can you purchase the memory? - you can buy them at many stores such as Walmart if you come from USA or Game if you come from South Africa.

2) How much can you put in? - Depending on the model of your Pocket Pc you can put up to 1gigabite but they usually come with only 64mb.

3) How to install it - You must first buy an HP expansion pack which you place on your Pocket Pc and you place the extra memory card in the expansion pack.

4) Where can you download software for it? - The memory card comes with the software installed already

Data erased - can I get it back?

Usually, these will hold the memory for up to a week after the battery dies. However, if you were gone 2 weeks and it's forgotten everything, I'm afraid it's just gone. There is no permanent memory storage to restore it from.

Sorry for the bad news.

Problem with 3630

unfortunatly this isnt a new issue. http://computing.net/pda/wwwboard/forum/838.html It sounds as though your recharging system has went on the fritz. If this is the case then money signs are going to soon be appearing. replacing the charging system is impracticle and the system blocks startup so this would even cause a new battery to not function properly and also probably what ruined your previous one.
