To do a full reset, simultaneously press the two outer application buttons and the reset button on the bottom of the handheld for 10 seconds.

I had the same problem with my iPAQ H3800. I bought a replacement battery on eBay for £7.49 and now it's fine.

you may have to buy a new battery for the unit. Simple as that

Could you tell me exactly what keyboard it is, send me the model of the keyboard. Are you planing to use it with the ipaq 3850?

try syncing through bluetooth, there could be a problem with the cradle. i have had an issue very similar to yours and had to do a soft reset on my pda. then set up your device to use a blue tooth connection( you may need to buy a bluetooth dongle for your pc).

Try this - don't give up Leave it charging, even if it takes three days. I sold one a few years ago on ebay and the buyer was insistent it wouldn't charge. Eventually it did start charging and there were no more problems.

If you want to access the internet thru your ipaq, you should first contact your network service provider to send you the GPRS configuration and settings. From then, you may now enjoy the connectivity of your ipaq.

Here's an eBay auction for a the ipaq, cradle and cover, no bids yet.
There are also a number of chargers available. A Google search also returns several vendors for ipaqs and accessories.

Download new BIOS for the unit, and follow the instructions very carefully. Depending on what kind of cables/dock you use, you might have to get creative in order to pull it off. It took a few times of trial and error, but now my unit works perfectly. Good luck.
