Canon MultiPASS F60 All-In-One InkJet Printer - Page 3 Questions & Answers
Red alarm light blinks with message
First, you should check the manual to see if it says anything about this condition. If not, or you lack a manual, open the cover. The print heads will probably move to the middle so you can access the cartridges. Watch what direction it came from. If you look over on that side you'll see the parking area. The waste ink reservoir is below the parking area or may be on a moving parking mechanism. You may be able to pull it out or just get it with some paper towels. There might be a special door or procedure for emptying the waste ink receptacle.

SOLUTION 1
On the operator panel, press and hold the <ON/OFF> button for one second. (The display will go blank.)
Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.
Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the <ON/OFF> button again.
Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.
SOLUTION 2
- Enter the Service Menu (By Pressing Menu - Copy - #)
- Select Test Mode
- Select 8 [PRINTER TEST] in Test Mode.
- Select 3 [EEPROM Clear]
- Select 0 [INK COUNT]
- Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.
- Now I'll advise you here to call Canon 1-800-828-4040, and inform them that you have reset the counter, but you needed to know if there is a part that needs cleaned or replaced to prevent further problems.
If you got any more queries, don't hesitate to ask.

Canon i960 qill not put ink on paper
I called Canon. I also had green 1 flash and amber 1flash everytime I turned on the printer. That right there indicates an elecrical problem. The flashes mean it needs serviced and with it not printing now means it's not wirth fixing, out of warranty. Canon did offer a code for reduced price new or referbished print from them.
