hi does it work if you plug in another monitor through vga port. if it doe work with other monitor then check display setting in control panel and see if it set to your main screen. i hope it works. i tried this a couple of years ago and that my screen was actually dead.

looks to me like your computer might be trying to bool from LAN instead of your HDD. This could indicate that either the boot sequence in the BIOS has been changed or that perhaps your HDD has become unreasonable. Can you see your HDD in the BIOS?

To go back to windows 7 you will need to insert the system restore disk in to the cd drive, then reboot the computer, when the computer first starts up you will need to hit either f2 or f8 when the computer symbol first boots up either (dell, hp, sony.ect.) that will bring you to the boot menu then find where it will have cd/dvd drive in it most likely with some other words in the same line, once you have found that you will hit enter on your keyboard, then you should here your cd/dvd drive spin up, once it ask you to "press any key to boot from cd/dvd drive do that, then you should have the option to restore your computer

Best thing to do,is try to remember when you first started having this problem and do a System Restore back to about a few days to a week before it started...that should fix it. :)..good luck :)
