Not all fridges with water dispensers have integral filters. Several have an external in line filter fitted to the supply pipe.

Just measure the outside height, depth and width. A replacement of the same or bigger dimensions will hold as much or more stock

Turn water supply to refrigerator off and get a pan or towels to collect what water that will spill when disconnected. On each end of the quick connect coupling is a ring hold the coupling tight with one hand while pressing the ring towards the center of the coupling and then pull the water line out. When replacing the water line trim the part of the water line off where the ring was before or the line may leak once you reattach the water line. Press ring towards the coupling to remove and simply push the existing line after trimming into coupling and pull tight. The grip inside the coupling will lock the line in place. Most likely the valve has failed. Usually located in the back of the refrigerator, near the bottom - otherwise, follow your water line (feed from the house water supply).

Make sure your refrigerator is level. Once your refriderator is level you should also check that your ice maker is level. You have some range of movement of the screws that attach the ice maker to the refrigerator if you loosen the screw and push up on the ice maker then re-tighten the screw.

The line going into the dispenser is a 5/16 line. You'll have to remove the front of the dispenser on the door to get access to the line to unclip it. Once you have that done you can pull the line out from the bottom. At this point there are a variety of different unions, compression fittings, etc. to splice the line. After that you just feed the line back through the bottom of the door, clip it back in place, put the dispenser back together and your done. On page 1 of the PDF you will see the top hinges marked as location 10 and 11 Make sure power is disconnected before removal of the freezer door and fresh food section door. Loosen the top hinges and disconnect the wiring harness just below the top left plastic hinge cover. Also remove the kick plate listed as location 16 and just behind the kick plate and below the freezer door push the snap lock water connector that joins water lines. Then carefully lift doors and place where they will not fall or be damage water line during time doors are of refrigerator. Hello, The motor that you are refering to is the evaporator fan motor. If you were to take everything out of the inside of the freezer and look at the rear wall of the inside of the freezer you will notice there are screws on this panel so that this panel can be removed. Once you removed this panel this would give you access to the evaporator coil. If you look above the coil you will see the culprit that makes them awesome noises you enjoy so much. If you see any ice build up anywere in this area you would defrost it with a hair dryer. This issue is called a defrost problem that your unit is experiencing. This is due to one or more of three basic parts. Two of those parts are located right in the area where you have accessed the evaporator coil. You would need a multimeter and be able to perform an ohms test on each of these next two parts mentioned to diagnose which part or if both had a fault. The first part is called the defrost thermostat which is a small round sensor that is clipped onto one of the copper lines near the top of the evaporator coil. Searching the parts breakdown for the model# you provided i do not see a listing for the water filter so i don't belive your model doesn't have one. On all whirlpool brands,models that have a filter its in the grill under the doors on the freezer side. Other brands put it above the top shelf of the fresh food compartment. If you dont find it in either place,your model doesnt have a built in one
