Where do I find the Temp. Control so I can turn it up.

If it's gas the control usually is at the bottom of the tank where the gas line comes in. If it's electric there should be a little trap door either at the top or bottom and the heat control is behind that door. The door is usually held in place with a screw There is a little dial with numbers you can turn up or down. There are electrical wires that you should not touch as well.

Thero. knocks off

http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-replace-thermostat-on-electric-water-heater.html Replace both thermostats. One or the other is sticking, and there is no way to test which one is bad... since test unsticks a stuck thermostat Gene If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gene_9f0ef4df2f9897e7

HOW TO REMOVE ANODR ROD FRO 606 RELIANCE

It is the 1" or 11/8" hex nut on the top of the water heater some where buy the supply line. As for the anode rod it could be either magnesium or aluminum depending where it was sold. If you are going to change it out call your water provider and ask which would be better for your area and water. To remove you need to turn off the electric, shut the water supply and drain off some of the water so it wont overflow, then it simply unscrews. Use teflon tape or sealer on the thread before installing the new one, then turn everything back on and purge the air from the system by opening a faucet.

Are all 25VS FV sensors equivalent?

I personally wouldn't replace a safety device (placed there by lawyers, lawsuits and the all knowing government) with anything other than OEM. While it's very likely that one manufacturers flammable vapor sensor may interchange on another brand of tank, I think it's highly unlikely that EVERY manufacturers sensor will work on every other brand of tank

Reliance propane water heater. Water too hot, even at lowest setting. Reliance sent new thermostat, same thing! Now they tell me it's because we don't use enough hot water! Is it possible?

The thermostat controls the water temp regardless of how much you use . Not using hot water the heater will cut in just to keep temp up to setting .
